Abdullah S. Al-Rashid & Brothers was established in 1957 in Al-Hufof city. In late fifties, it launched its activities in the construction field with ( ARAMCO ) where it won a contract for constructing houses for the Ministry of Education which was an encouraging step towards forthcoming successes in the construction field.
After mobilizing its headquarters to Al-Riyadh, the company was amalgamated with Rashid Abdul-Rahman Al-Rashid Company to form Al-Rashid Trading & Contracting Company ( RTCC ). Since then, RTCC has effectively contributed in executing numerous development projects.
In evaluating the company’s performance and capabilities, RTCC was awarded numerous certificates of merit to executed projects as well as class “ A “ contractor classification from the Ministry of Housing & Public Works. To further enhance the company’s technical and operational capabilities, several joint venture schemes have been successfully established affiliates with international companies, such as:
1- Saudi Services for Electro-Mechanical Works Co.
2- The Saudi Japanese Construction Co.
3- Al-Rashid Abetong Co.
The Company has also contributed financially in the economic growth of the Kingdom through investing in housing projects, agriculture, industry and banking.

Also, the Company has established a vast regional mall : “Al-Rashid Mall“ in Al-Khobar which was created and financed by national resources. The Company was awarded a certificate of merit for designing this mall from The International Council of Shopping Centers ( ICSC ) .
