Al Rashid Abetong Co. Ltd. (ARA) was formed in 1977 as a joint venture company between Al Rashid Trading & Contracting Company (RTCC), a 100% Saudi organization and Abetong AB of Heidelberg Cement Norden - Europe.

ARA is specialized in pre-cast, ready mixed concrete and building systems through three plants in Riyadh and has the full capacity to execute any structure in any area of the Kingdom including the engineering, manufacturing, delivery and erection.

The company introduced in Saudi Arabia in 1984 the most modern pre-cast system for long-span construction, the "Swede Beam System".
